Privacy & EULA

GameMasterBuddy handles your data in a simple, transparent way: what you create stays tied to your account, and manual search works without making things up. This page summarizes the privacy principles and the terms of use (EULA) in plain language. For the full legal text always refer to the official Terms and Privacy pages on the site.

Your data stays on your account

Everything you produce in the app is tied to your account and you get it back by logging in: characters, portraits, images, Cartographer maps, one-shots, chat history with its folders, Bench presets and journals. It isn't public material: it's yours, saved for you.

Access happens through Google, so we don't manage any password of yours: you use the identity you already have. On first access you're shown a consent notice to accept.

How manual search works (retrieval-only)

The heart of the Master AI chat is a retrieval-only system: when you ask a question, the engine searches the most relevant pieces of text inside the manuals and provides them as sources. The actual answer is composed by the language model starting from those pieces.

This has two important practical consequences for you:

  • answers are cited from the manuals, not invented from scratch;
  • the system searches the real content instead of "imagining" it, reducing the typical errors of generic AIs.

The search works over the indexed manuals; your questions serve to find the right passages, not to build a public profile of you.

AI features and their logs

Some features use AI and, for fairness and anti-fraud reasons, keep a record of generations. For example, when you generate a portrait a reproducible log is saved with the produced image, viewable by the administrator. It ensures the service is used correctly and that spent credits correspond to real generations. The same spirit of transparency applies to the other AI credit-based features.

The terms of use (EULA)

By using GameMasterBuddy you accept the Terms of Service (EULA) and the Privacy published on the site. In short, and without replacing the official text:

  • access is in closed beta and goes through an administrator's approval;
  • credits govern the use of AI features (two wallets: weekly periodic + purchased that never expire);
  • the service must be used lawfully and in compliance with the terms.
