🧝 Vulcania creator

The Vulcania creator builds characters for GameMasterBuddy's own setting, following Vulcania's rules system. Its main trait is that it's zero-LLM: it uses no artificial intelligence at any step, so it's fully deterministic and spends no credits. Every time you fill in the same fields you get the same sheet, no surprises.

Why it's "zero-LLM"

Unlike other GMB features (chat, portraits, DM helper) that rely on an AI model and spend credits, the Vulcania creator does its calculations with the system's rules, not with a generative model. The practical upshot for you:

• You spend no credits: create as many characters as you want.
• It's consistent: values come from the rules, not from generated text, so the sheet is reliable.
• It's fast and runs in the browser, like the other free table tools.

How to use it

1. Open the creator and pick Vulcania as the system.
2. Fill in the fields the sheet offers you, following the modules laid out by Vulcania's system.
3. As you enter data, the sheet computes the derived values for you according to the rules.
4. When you're happy, save the character to your account.
5. If you like, export the finished sheet as a PDF to print or share it.

Portrait and library

You can attach a portrait generated with GMB to a Vulcania character. When you attach it you get a crop suited to the game (for Vulcania the crop is circular), so the image fits the sheet nicely. Every character you create stays in your library, under Characters, ready to reopen and edit.

Vulcania across the rest of GMB

Vulcania isn't just the creator: it's one of the settings available throughout the app. You'll find it in the Master AI chat (which draws from the Vulcania manuals), in the table tools (for example the Player Tracker with its Dodge/Evade/Wound/DR stats and the manual's real bestiary) and in the generators. So the character you build here lives in the same world you work with in the other tools.
