Generators
The Generators are the Game Master's box of quick draws: a single box from which you pull on the fly an NPC, a town, an encounter, loot, a tavern, the weather, a plot hook or some names. They're for when you need a detail right away — a name for a just-invented innkeeper, a random encounter, a hook to improvise — without leafing through paper tables. It's free, runs in the browser and spends no credits. You'll find it as a page of its own and as a block in the Board.
What you can generate
From the single box you draw:
- NPCs (non-player characters on the fly)
- Towns
- Encounters
- Loot
- Taverns
- Weather
- Plot hooks
- Names
Each draw pulls from curated tables: press and you get a result ready to use at the table.
Tables per setting
Results change with the chosen world: the tables differ for Vulcania, Eberron, Forgotten Realms and Generic. This way names, taverns and hooks sound consistent with your campaign's setting, instead of feeling out of place. You set the setting (on the page, or at canvas level in the Board) and the generators draw from the right tables.
How to use it
- Choose the setting.
- In the box select the type of draw you need (NPC, town, encounter, loot...).
- Press to generate: the result appears, ready to read or reuse.
It's built for on-the-fly use during a session: draw, read, move on.
Note
The Generators pull from predefined tables and run entirely in the browser: they're instant and free. To craft an AI tailored to a scene — rich descriptions generated on the spot — that's the domain of credit-based tools like the DM helper; here instead you get quick draws that stay consistent with the world, with no waiting and no cost.
